Steel Steel Stiffened Doors

• Lock edge is beveled or non-beveled and reinforced with continuous channel. Hinge edge is non-beveled and reinforced with a full height (or segmented) steel integral hinge channel.
• Face sheets are projection welded to hinge and lock channels at 5" on centers and have full height visible seams on door edge. Seamless options are available. 
• Doors have a flush top and an inverted bottom 16 gage channel welded at maximum 2 1/2" on centers.
• Doors have a vertical stiffeners of 18 or 20 gage with a mineral wool or fiberglass batt between each stiffener.
• Construction is 1 3/4" thick with four perimeter channels and 14, 16, 18 gage cold-rolled or galvanized steel skins.
• Widths up to and including 5'0"
• Heights up to and including 10'0"
• Doors are thoroughly cleaned, phosphatized and finished as standard with one coat of baked-on rust inhibiting prime paint, capable of passing a 120-hour salt spray test in accordance with ANSI 224.1 - 1987 or ASTM specification B117 and a 240-hour humidity test in accordance with ASTM Specification D1735
• Doors are individually packaged to prevent damage to door finish
